Vehicles | Four New Sections Established

In order to specifically develop different research areas and attract more high-quality papers, under the guidance of the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Chadli, Vehicles (ISSN: 2624-8921) has established 4 new Sections.

The new Sections are designed to refine the classification of automotive engineering research, helping authors identify the most appropriate submission scope and enabling readers to quickly access research in their areas of interest. The four Sections include the following:

  • “Vehicle Dynamics and Control”;
  • “Powertrain and Energy Systems”;
  • “Intelligent and Connected Mobility”;
  • “Safety and Security in Vehicles”.

Special lssues and papers will be reorganized to align with the new Section structure.

Each Section focuses on distinct core themes, with detailed “Section Information” (including scope overviews and welcomed topics) available on the journal’s website. We warmly invite researchers worldwide to submit high-quality original research or review articles to the relevant Sections, and look forward to advancing interdisciplinary exchange and innovation in automotive engineering together.

In addition, we are currently recruiting Editorial Board Members (EBMs) and Guest Editors for all Sections. If you are an active researcher in this field and are passionate about publishing cutting-edge research, please contact us at jr-vehicles@mdpi.com.
