On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to the “PVSPACE-25 Conference New Generation Photovoltaics for Space”, which will be held in Rome, Italy, from September 23 to 25, 2025.
The conference aims to provide a platform for experts across the spectrum of space energy and PV technologies to gain insights into the latest advancements, state-of-the-art innovations, and future directions for next-generation PVs, as well as advanced power generation and transmission systems for space applications. The concept of space applications is broadening beyond traditional satellite power and space missions to encompass groundbreaking developments such as extraterrestrial bases, deployable flexible PV arrays, inflatable solar cells, solar power stations, wireless power transmission, green propulsion, active debris removal, and more. A dedicated segment of the conference will explore the emerging synergy—and potential competition—between advanced photovoltaic systems and cutting-edge photodetector technologies.
