MDPI Books | Empowering Voices in the Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (SSAH)

MDPI Books is proud to continue its support for the Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (SSAH) through the 2025 MDPI Open Access Book Competition, which remains open for submissions until 31 August 2025. 

This initiative invites authors and editors working in SSAH disciplines to submit proposals for academic books, whether they are monographs, edited volumes, or thesis-based works, for a chance to receive full funding for open access publication. The competition reflects MDPI’s commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible academic publishing across a wide range of disciplines, with particular attention to fields that have traditionally faced limited funding for open access. 

Selected proposals will be published free of charge, with full editorial, production, and promotional support from MDPI Books, worth up to CHF 12000. 

Competition details:
Deadline: 31 August 2025;
Eligibility: Researchers in SSAH fields at any career stage and from any region;
