Intelligent Algorithm Design and Analysis in Networked Systems

Dear Colleagues,

The design and analysis of distributed algorithms become critical with the rapid development of Internet of Things, 5G communications, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Different solutions have been presented, trying to meet the challenges due to the diversity (and their fusion) of research fields. Taking remote sensing as an example, as a non-contact, long-distance detection technology being widely used in agriculture, forestry, geology, ocean, meteorology, hydrology, military, environmental protection and other fields, it generally manipulates satellites, radar, radio telescopes to detect the radiation and electromagnetic waves reflection from objects. However, an unprecedented huge amount of data and their complicated structures require elastic and distributed algorithms for effective, efficient and intelligent processing and analysis.

The aim of this Special Issue is to present the latest developments in distributed algorithm design and analysis in relevant research fields, where investigators and engineers are invited to contribute with their original, unpublished works. Both research and review papers inccluding (but not limited to) the following topics are welcome:
