About Industries

Aims

Industries (ISSN 3042-9021) is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal focused on interdisciplinary research bridging industrial engineering, digital technologies, and strategic management. The journal aims to promote sustainable industrial transformation, technology commercialization, and policy-driven innovation, explicitly connecting theoretical rigor with practical applications. This journal publishes original research articles and reviews, but other article types will also be considered. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the manuscripts.

Scope

The scope of the journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Intelligent Industrial Systems: The role of Industry 4.0 and digitalization (IoT, robotics, AI/ML, digital twins) in restructuring industries, enhancing supply chain resilience, and enabling sustainable transitions, with a critical focus on their systemic, managerial, and organizational ramifications.
• Technology Commercialization and Strategy: Scaling innovations (materials, energy, digital tools), business model transformation (servitization, platforms), and resilient logistics.
• Industrial Ecosystems and Governance: Implementing industrial policy, technology transfer, ethical AI, workforce digitization, and decarbonization.

Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal's News & Announcements section.
