Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of Curtin University, we welcome you to The Future of International Energy Markets Conference that will be held on 9–11 July 2015 (http://business.curtin.edu.au/research/conferences/fiem/index.cfm). The Committee particularly welcomes papers in the areas (without limiting other areas) of: gas energy markets, oil energy markets, renewable energy markets, energy finance, carbon trading, energy convergence, energy and environmental policies and energy supply chains.

The papers will clearly recognize that stable and long-term policies in energy and in financial markets are essential to attract the necessary investments. Therefore, we need to explore how the removal of structural impediments can highly mobilize capital to attractive energy investments. The results will clearly indicate the challenges the economies must face in financing their energy infrastructure and development opportunities.

Please follow the timeline:

Abstracts due: 31 October 2014
Decisions to authors: 30 November 2014
Submission of full paper to the Guest Editor: 31 January 2015

If you cannot meet the deadlines, please inform the Editorial Office.

Prof. Dr. Nicholas Apergis
Guest Editor
