Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
In an era marked by global economic volatility, technological disruption, and interconnected market systems, financial risk management has evolved into a critical cornerstone for safeguarding economic stability, institutional resilience, and sustainable development. From systemic risks triggered by cross-border capital flows to operational risks arising from fintech innovations, and from climate-related financial risks to the complexity of energy market fluctuations, the landscape of financial risks has become increasingly multifaceted and intricate. This Special Issue, entitled “Advances in Financial Risk Management”, aims to showcase cutting-edge research, innovative methodologies, and practical insights that address the evolving challenges in this field. We welcome original research articles and high-quality reviews that address (but are not limited to) the following themes:
- Innovative methodologies for financial risk measurement.
- Cross-market and cross-institutional systemic risk transmission mechanism.
- AI and big data-driven financial risk identification and early warning.
- Fintech risk governance and regulatory compliance.
- Climate financial risk measurement and sustainable risk response.
- Empirical research on the impact of cross-border capital flows on regional financial stability.
- Institutional risk resilience construction and crisis management strategies.
- ESG-oriented financial risk management and green investment risk control.
By bringing together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, this Special Issue seeks to foster academic exchange, promote evidence-based risk management practices, and provide a platform for advancing the frontiers of financial risk management research.
