Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce this Special Issue, entitled “Recent Advances in Rapid Diagnostic Testing for Infectious Diseases”. This call for papers aims to highlight the recent advancements in and the clinical impact of rapid diagnostic testing for infectious diseases in the context of global public health. This includes innovations in the diagnosis of emerging infectious diseases; the clinical utility of rapid diagnostic testing to support infections, including advanced HIV disease, sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis, influenza, tuberculosis, fungal and bacterial infections; and implementation successes in public health settings for available point-of-care technologies.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Infectious Disease Reports is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
