Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Human Infertility has been defined by WHO as a new “pandemic” worldwide. Climate changes and chemical pollutants are dramatically contributing to the decline of both male and female potential to conceive. This scenario represents a tangible threat to the human species, which needs to be tackled by orchestrated global strategies including climate policies (as preventive measures) and tailored medical interventions (as treatment measures).

Given this premise, the aim of the present Special Issue is to respond to the unsolved questions concerning human infertility and the relationship between its multiple contributing factors with male and female genital and extragenital apparatus.

We therefore invite all healthcare researchers to contribute to this Special Issue by submitting original studies or systematic reviews/meta-analyses concerning the following topics:

  • Assisted reproductive technologies in women’s and men’s infertility;
  • Infertility endocrinology;
  • Fertility sparing in oncological patients;
  • New surgical and translational approaches to endometriosis;
  • Recurrent pregnancy loss;
  • Endocrine disrupting chemicals in human infertility and in gynaecological oncology;
  • Effects of climate changes on human fertility.

 I look forward to your contribution.

Guest Editor
