Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is intended to provide an outlet for research incorporating belief formation processes into the study of the economics of identity. These processes are broadly defined and include both the direct impact of social identity on economically important beliefs and behaviors, such as stranger trust or cooperation, and the indirect impact of identity on beliefs. An example of the latter might be how individuals’ identities affect the narratives that come to mind when assessing a situation or how identity, or associated narratives, may affect the features of situations that subjectively warrant attention. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are encouraged

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
