Fractal and Fractional Receives an Updated Impact Factor of 3.3 and an Increased CiteScore of 6.0

We are pleased to share that Fractal and Fractional (ISSN: 2504-3110) was awarded an updated Impact Factor of 3.3 in the 2024 Journal Citation Reports™ released by Clarivate™ in June 2025. Fractal and Fractional ranks in Q1 (22 among 136 titles) in the “Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Applications” category.

Additionally, according to data released by Scopus (Elsevier), Fractal and Fractional received an Increased CiteScore™ of 6.0, an increase of 30% compared with the 2023 metric.

Fractal and Fractional ’s CiteScore ranks as follows:

  • Top 5% Q1 (8 out of 198) in the “Mathematics-Analysis” category;
  • Top 10% Q1 (23 out of 293) in the “Mathematics-Statistics and Probability” category;
  • Q1 (10 out of 61) in the “Physics and Astronomy-Statistical and Nonlinear Physics” category.

The 2024 Journal Impact Factor is calculated by dividing the number of citations received in 2024 to all publications in the journal from 2022 and 2023 by the total number of citable publications from those same years.
