Dear Colleagues,
All-solid-state Li-S batteries possess superiorities compared to Li-S batteries employing organic liquid electrolyte owing not just to the termination of the shuttle effect but also to the ease of materials and electrode composite design. The fabrication of positive electrodes has been well-studied to date, with the development of several types of active materials and their composites with solid electrolytes and electronic conductive materials. This Special Issue is devoted to gathering the latest updates on the development of fundamental studies on all-solid-state Li-S batteries:
- Development of active materials or electrolytes for all-solid-state Li-S batteries;
- New strategies on the fabrication of positive electrode composites, especially composite of oxide type solid electrolytes;
- Fabrication of negative electrode composites with the usage of graphite, silicon, Li metal, etc.;
- Investigation of binder in both positive and negative electrodes;
- Mechanical properties of materials, composites, and all-solid-state Li-S.
Thus, researchers from different fields are very welcome to contribute fundamental knowledge aimed at a wide community for the development and application of all-solid-state Li-S batteries.

Electronic Materials is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
