Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The treatment of facial soft tissue defects is currently entrusted to regenerative plastic surgeons, through autologous-based therapies prevalently based on fat grafting and platelet-rich plasma. The enthusiasm for regenerative plastic surgery and for the treatment of some of the pathologies addressed by it, such as outcomes of hemifacial atrophy, burns, scars, and aesthetic improvements such as facial rejuvenation, has led the editors of this issue to investigate new regenerative strategies based on adipose-derived stem cells, nano-micro and macro fat grafting, combined with rhinoplasty in facial soft tissue defects. The present Special Issue aims to report on the latest knowledge in a hybrid field based on the combination of traditional strategies, such as rhinoplasty with regenerative procedures such as fat grafting.
