The Second European Biosensor Symposium, EBS2019, follows the first one, held in Potsdam in 2017, resulting from the 10th edition of German Biosensors Symposium, a bi-annual event first held 1999 in Munich, and the idea to move to a wider, European audience. With 5 well renowned plenary speakers, 15 distinguished keynote speakers and around 200 submitted contributions, the Conference has been able to bring together young scientists and experienced researchers to discuss new ideas and to push forward emerging interesting approaches and to establish a base for funding application by building networking: an event which should not be missed.
