Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of Chemosensors, I am pleased to announce the winner of the 2019 Travel Award sponsored by Chemosensors. The award was granted to Dr. Yeşeren Saylan, postdoctoral fellow of Hacettepe University. She will be supported with 800 Swiss Francs towards travel expenses to attend the 258th ACS National Meeting to be held in San Diego, CA. Besides, Dr. Yeşeren Saylan and her supervisor will receive an offer to publish a paper free of charge without a fixed deadline in Chemosensors.

Dr. Yeşeren Saylan’s current research focuses on the utilization of nano-sized fingerprint structures of biological entities to develop bio-mimicked and bio-inspired sensors for precisely addressing existing real-world problems in environmental monitoring and medical applications.

Chemsonsors is proud to support this young researcher working in the field of science and technology of chemical sensors and wish her further success in her career. We are grateful to all who submitted applications—thank you for letting us get to know you and your work. We hope all of you continue to pay attention to Chemosensors in the future.

I would like to congratulate the winner and thank the selection committee for their excellent work in selecting the winner from such a large number of excellent candidate profiles.
