Recruiting Reviewer Board Members for Biomimetics

We are currently recruiting Reviewer Board Members for Biomimetics (ISSN: 2313-7673). If you are an active researcher in the field, and are passionate about promoting the publication of cutting-edge research, please contact the Biomimetics Editorial Office ([email protected]) to apply for this role.

Biomimetics is an open access journal containing research pertaining to biomimicry and bionics, dedicated to research that relates to the most basic aspects of living organisms and the transfer of their properties to human applications. The journal aims to provide a forum and a survey for researchers and professionals in the fields of materials science, mechanical engineering, nanotechnology, and biomedicine, who are interested in exploiting biologically inspired designs in engineering systems, technology, and biomedicine, aimed at developing novel solutions that enable sustainable innovation. More information can be found on our homepage, which can be accessed via the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/biomimetics/about.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Biomimetic mechanism and design;
  • Biomimetic robotics;
  • Biofabrication and characterization;
  • Biomimetic and bioinspired chemistry;
  • Biosensing;
  • Nanotribology, nanomechanics, micro/nanoscale studies;
  • Plant biomechanics;
  • Synthetic systems;
  • Self-organization and cooperative behavior;
  • Tissue engineering;
  • Bioinspired, biomedical and biomolecular materials.

The benefits of joining our Reviewer Board are as follows:

  • We will announce your entry information on the journal's reviewer board;
  • For each review, we will offer you a discount code if a comprehensive and timely report is provided. These vouchers can be used for your future publications in all MDPI journals;
