The Special Issue, “Thyroid Disorders: Comprehensive Insight from Functional Abnormalities, Structural Lesions to Autoimmunity”, provides an in-depth exploration of the multifaceted nature of thyroid diseases, integrating basic science, clinical research, and translational perspectives. It covers the full spectrum of thyroid dysfunctions—from hypo- and hyperthyroidism to nodular disease and malignancy—highlighting the molecular, genetic, and environmental factors influencing thyroid physiology and pathology. Special emphasis is placed on autoimmune thyroid disorders, including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease, examining their immunopathogenesis, diagnostic biomarkers, and evolving therapeutic strategies. The issue also discusses advances in imaging techniques, cytopathology, and molecular diagnostics that enhance early detection and precision management of structural thyroid lesions. Contributions address the interplay between thyroid function and systemic health, encompassing cardiovascular, metabolic, and reproductive implications. By bringing together cutting-edge research and comprehensive reviews, this collection aims to foster a holistic understanding of thyroid disorders, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and identify emerging directions for clinical practice and personalized medicine.
