2022	The inaugural issue was released. Bacteria was published as a quarterly journal.
2024	Bacteria was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2025	Bacteria received its first CiteScore (2024) of 2.8, ranked Q2 (12/38) in "Immunology and Microbiology (miscellaneous)".
