MDPI will be attending the 9th Sino-American Workshop on Biomedical Engineering (SAWBE) and China–Oversea Joint Workshop on Biomechanics (COWB), held in Chengdu, China, from 22 to 26 July 2025, at booth# 14.

The 9th Sino-American Workshop on Biomedical Engineering and China–Oversea Joint Workshop on Biomechanics is one of the series of academic exchange activities held every three years. The purpose of the workshop is to further strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation among Chinese scholars at home and abroad, and to promote the development of biomedical engineering and biomechanics in our country. Since its inception in 2001 (first session, Beijing), the workshop has successfully held eight sessions: the second session in 2004 (Shanghai/Chengdu/Beijing), the third session in 2007 (Guangzhou), the fourth session in 2010 (Chongqing), the fifth session in 2013 (Beijing), the sixth session in 2016 (Shanghai), the seventh session in 2019 (Chongqing), and the eighth session in 2022 (Beijing). It has become a series of high-end conferences with brand recognition in the field, significantly promoting international cooperation and talent cultivation, and facilitating the development of biomedical engineering and biomechanics in our country.
