We are delighted to announce the launch of Biosphere (ISSN 3042-6111) [1], an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing global dialogue and scientific progress in the field of sustainable ecosystem management.
The biosphere represents the interconnected systems that sustain all life on Earth; the lithosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere, and their interactions which play a vital role in maintaining the planet’s life-support systems. Understanding these interactions is critical as we face urgent environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and human impact. Biosphere offers a platform for researchers worldwide to publish high-quality, transdisciplinary research that explores these interactions and identifies solutions for the sustainable management of global ecosystems.
With no restrictions on manuscript length, Biosphere welcomes submissions that include comprehensive methodologies and experimental findings, ensuring transparency, rigor, and reproducibility. The journal’s broad scope includes ecosystem science and dynamics, biodiversity conservation, environmental adaptation, innovative methodologies, human impacts on the biosphere, sustainable development strategies, and the links between science, policy, and public education.
As we launch this exciting new platform, we warmly invite the global scientific community to contribute their expertise and insights. In line with MDPI’s commitment to excellent service and efficient, rigorous peer review, we look forward to supporting researchers in publishing impactful work that will shape the path toward a more sustainable future for our planet.
