Cover Story: Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) electrodes are increasingly being recognized as promising alternatives to traditional metal electrodes in perovskite solar cells. Typically, strong acidic p-dopants are used to enhance the electrical properties of p-type semiconductors, but these can damage perovskite crystals, complicating their direct application. In contrast, 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol, with much weaker acidity, allows for direct doping. Repeated re-doping with this substance results in a gradual decrease in power conversion efficiency from 14.1% to 8.6% after 260 days, yet the cells maintain high stability even when stored in ambient conditions without encapsulation, demonstrating significant promise for future use. View this paper
