Inflammatory Biomarkers and Outcome Heterogeneity in Anti-MDA5 Antibody-Associated Interstitial Lung Disease: A Single-Center Consecutive Cohort Study
Highlights
- Peak LDH, CRP, and ferritin levels were higher in non-survivors with anti-MDA5 antibody-associated ILD.
- PCA showed partial separation between survivors and non-survivors, but substantial overlap remained across biomarker profiles.
- Inflammatory biomarkers may support exploratory risk assessment in anti-MDA5 antibody-associated ILD.
- However, single biomarkers alone are insufficient for precise prognostication, and the findings require validation in larger cohorts.
