The First Electronic Conference, Cells 2020, was dedicated to the “mechanisms and pathophysiological role of the metabolic cross-talk between the cells”. Cells 2020 was an online event (https://sciforum.net/conference/Cells2020) that covered all aspects of cell metabolic cross-talk. Main topics included: cell cycle regulators: cross-talk with metabolism; exosomes and extracellular vesicles in health and disease; cross-talk between cell adhesion and metabolism; cross-talk between cell death regulation and metabolism; cross-talk between immune cells and tissue microenvironment; compartmentalization of cellular signaling. Lectures were presented live through a series of webinars. Accepted papers are set to be gathered in a Special Issue of Cells journal.
