1. Conference Overview

The 6th International Congress on Health Innovation—INOVATEC 2025—was held from 21 to 23 November 2025 in Brasília, Federal District, Brazil, with the theme “Disruptive innovations for inclusive, borderless health” (inovatecdf.com.br). The event covered strategic areas such as bioeconomy and sustainability; disruptive technologies and AI in health; industry and biotechnology; innovations in prevention, diagnosis and therapeutics; mental health and neuroscience; nanobiotechnology; and entrepreneurship, management and public health.
INOVATEC 2025 brought together more than 2500 registered participants and representatives from over 80 institutions across several countries in Europe and South America. The congress featured a technology exhibition with more than 40 exhibitors, two parallel stages with simultaneous programming, and over 20 h of scientific, technical, artistic and innovation-focused activities. The lecture program was broadcast live via the official YouTube channel, enabling real-time remote participation.
More than 200 scientific abstracts were submitted, of which 179 were accepted for presentation in the e-poster, on-site oral communication, and synchronous online oral communication formats. The accepted contributions were organized across the thematic tracks of Health and Biological Sciences; Bioeconomy, Sustainability and Agri-health; Biotechnology and Nanotechnology; Computing and Information Technology Applied to Health; and Public Health and Epidemiology.
