The blood serum that was used in the original publication [1] was missing the corresponding statement. Blood serum was collected from patients from the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Siberian State Medical University in Tomsk. We can confirm that the study was conducted under the appropriate ethical oversight. All work involving human blood serum was reviewed and approved by the relevant institutional ethics committee, and all patients have signed the informed consent form.
A correction has been made to Section “2.4. Preparation of Real Sample for Analysis”, the Institutional Review Board Statement, and the Informed Consent Statement in the original paper, as follows:
[Section 2.4] “Blood serum was collected from patients from the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Siberian State Medical University in Tomsk. All patients have signed the informed consent form.”
  • Institutional Review Board Statement: The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Ethics Committee of Siberian State Medical University (protocol code 3604, 24 February 2014).”
  • Informed Consent Statement: Informed consent was obtained from all subjects involved in the study.”
The authors state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
