Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have satisfactorily addressed my feedback.

There are minor edits yet:

      p.1, line 17: … the effect of a cognitive intervention…; (missing “a”)

1, line 22: Effect of the intervention… ; (missing “the”) 5, line 191-192: “Detailed musical information of all selected songs is presented in Figure 3.” : delete this sentence or the one that appears in lines 186-187 because they are duplicates. 6, section 2.3: Format this section so that each “Phase” appears as the start of a new line of text. 9, line 305: …the effect of a cognitive intervention…; (missing “a”) 11, line 401: “Cognitive intervention(s) with musical stimuli generated (by) using …; include the “s” and “by”

Reviewer 2 Report

The article in this review has taken into account all the specified suggestions and has been significantly improved. The methodology, the phases of the intervention and the type of musical stimuli used have been clarified.
I consider that now the point of interpretation of the results has been better explained: the data show that improvement is produced in the intervention group by musical stimulation and that such musical stimulation is administered through digital devices to facilitate access and adaptation by the elderly. Perhaps some studies of the use of technology in music therapy to improve the manuscript could be mentioned in the discussion. I recommend avoiding the statement "Our study demonstrated that digitalized music therapy also has positive effects on the cognition of patients with MCI" and replacing it with: "Our study demonstrated that music therapy using digitalized devices has positive effects on the cognition of patients with MCI", since there is no data that explains the benefits derived from the digital device itself.

Thanks for your great comment. We totally agree with your opinion. The purpose of our study is to investigate the effect of “music therapy using digitalized devices” not “digitalized music therapy”. We changed the final conclusion as per your recommendation as follows. We used “Track changed” system on MS word for highlighting changes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Line 410: We revised the sentence to Our study demonstrated that music therapy using digitalized devices has positive effects on the cognition of patients with MCI’ using your comment.
