Torsion discriminance for stability of linear time-invariant systems
Wang, Sun, Cao, and Zhang.
This is an interesting paper which present results on the solution of the zero-solution (if it exist) and its stability from a direct inspection of the generalized curvatures. In R3, from the torsion, I congratulate the authors for this insight which is the main results of the paper The examples are useful. It seems that working with the eigenvalues would had been an easy alternative - but it would not allow for a geometrical interpretation but rather an algebraic inspection.
What is ref. 2? arXiv:1808.00290 - My guess is that it is the original preprint of what later developed into the current work? I which case I recommend to incorporate the lower dimensional material more fully into the current work. Alternative the authors could be somewhat more cautious and reducing the scientific overlap between the two manuscripts. I.e. my recommendation ia either to extend or to reduce. As the current parer is a master piece I recommend to extend.
