The journal and authors retract the article entitled “An Evolutionary Technique for Building Neural Network Models for Predicting Metal Prices” [1].
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding a significant overlap with a previously written, yet unpublished, manuscript from a different authorship group.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board. The investigation confirmed a significant overlap with the unpublished manuscript and usage of materials without receiving appropriate permission to publish. Therefore, the Mathematics Editorial Office has taken the decision to retract the article.
This retraction was approved by the Editor in Chief of the journal Mathematics.
