Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This is an excellent paper that describes a well-constructed research project and significant findings. The writing is lucid and compelling.

A few minor corrections that I identified:

Line 155 and 595  – fix/accept tracked change

Line 248-253 – this is a direct block quote and should be indented

Line 253 – remove quote marks

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The prepared publication is relevant and significant.

I would recommend specifying in the title and purpose of the article that the subjective experience of teachers is analyzed.

The introduction must present the latest exploration of the problem selected for the analysis.

It is necessary to present the specific stages of how the research data were analyzed. Who is the creator or author of the chosen methodology. What steps have been taken?

The authors of Braun and Clark are mentioned, but we know that they present the method of thematic analysis and this methodology has its own requirements that must be fulfilled. How does this relate to narrative analysis? Was an integrated approach applied?

If thematic analysis was applied, it is necessary to provide a map of the main topics and their connections or to specify the part of the methodology.

It is necessary to clarify the problematic questions, which are now very directive, emphasizing the links between different phenomena. It is clear that all attention must be directed to the analysis of experiences without any presuppositions.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article misses a research paradigm to be used to address the question of "so what?". In other words, the findings should be driven by the ontology, epistemology, axiology, and methodology of a paradigm that frame the study. Some parts of this study indicate a "critical paradigm" which aims at liberating or transforming the participants through their narratives.

The article has very few recent studies that are older than 5 years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023). Recent studies should be increased in order to be the majority in the article.

The citations in the text are not following the required "numbered" reference style. This needs to be corrected.

The article combines UK and USA English which makes it difficult to understand some other parts of the article. This needs to be corrected.
