In my opinion, this paper may be interesting for reader of Electronics Journal. Nevertheless, there are some items that should be addressed before acceptance:However, the manuscript is carelessly framed and contains many misprints. The writing could be improved by strengthening the connectivity between paragraphs. There are several places where new topics are introduced and connections to the previous subject are not clear. Read whole manuscript and correct wherever required. Answer: Thanks for your suggestion, and we have revised the manuscript carefully as below: Introduction: The introduction does not clearly state the purpose of the research – please amend. Answer: the purpose of the research has added at the end of the introduction: In this study, based on high-speed photography technology, the physical experiment of grain impact was carried out to analyze the signal data generated by the grain impact sensor at different angles. The frequency and amplitude of the signal generated by the grain impact loss sensor under different operating conditions of the combined harvester were studied, and the parameters of the related signal conditioning circuit were successively improved to make the count of the grain loss sensor more accurate, so as to provide a guarantee for the design of an adaptive control system to reduce the clearance loss of the combined harvester. Materials and Methods The research methods are relevant and well-ordered throughout the paper. The manuscript outlines the method of conducting the experiment and collecting research materials. However, the author is required to add the years of the research. Answer: the years of the research has been added in the latest manuscript. Results There are no major reservations to the results. The results are appropriately described. Answer: Thanks Discussion The Discussion is well structured; the research results are confronted with other authors’ research. Answer: Thanks Conclusions The conclusions are too general. Please make them more specific. Answer: the conclusions have revised as below to avoid too general. (1) It is indicates that the rise time is much more shorter in orthogonal collision condition, while the collision signals voltage amplitude is much more larger in orthogonal collision process. The higher the grain moisture content, the smaller of the rise time and the higher signals voltage amplitude, and the signal voltage amplitude shows a positive correlation with the collision angle. In general, the collision signal rising time was distributed within 40 - 65 μs for grains with a moisture content in the range of 17% - 25%. Collision velocity has minor effects on signal rise time and voltage amplitude, the difference of rise time under three different collision velocity varies within ± 5μs under the same collision angle, and the variation of signal voltage amplitude is ≤ 0.5 V. Under the instruction of the above analysis, a band-pass filter with a corner frequency of 4 - 6 kHZ was designed. (2) The attenuation time was shortened from 40 ms to 2 ms, the resolution of the sensor was improved significantly by adding constrained damping layer to the sensitive plate under the instruction of experimental modal analysis. Filed experiment results indicates that the monitoring error of the optimized grain loss sensor declined significantly compared with the monitored results reported by Wang et al. (2018), in which the averaged monitoring relative error was 12.98% and the maximum relative error was 17.64%. Consequently, the title is misleading, improve the title , title is itself content plagarism. The MS plagarism is 26%; Reduce the plagarism (see attached file) Answer: We have revised the relevant content to reducing the plagarism Renumber the figure number carefully (Figure 7 is two times) Answer: The chart serial number has been modified, thanks. Answer: We have read the whole manuscript line by line, and the errors has been corrected in our best. The Discussion should be improved. Present the context of the study at the beginning and towards the end show in perspective the possibilities to valorize the results you have reached. Answer: the conclusion part has been revised as below: It is indicted that signal voltage amplitude and signal frequency are the key factors for designing a grain loss sensor. To grasp the variation of signal voltage amplitude and signal frequency under different condition, the high-speed photography and signal high-speed acquisition technique were utilized to capture grain collision attitude and the corresponding collision signal characteristics. It is indicates that the rise time is much more shorter in orthogonal collision condition, while the collision signals voltage amplitude is much more larger in orthogonal collision process. The higher the grain moisture content, the smaller of the rise time and the higher signals voltage amplitude, and the signal voltage amplitude shows a positive correlation with the collision angle. Reviewer 2 Report
In this manuscript, a constrained damping layer is proposed to be added such that the monitoring resolution can be improved for grain loss sensor. Certain parameters such as grain moisture content and collision angle affect the signal voltage amplitude are also investigate. This research proposes a modified structure for the grain loss sensor applied to evaluate the performance of combine harvesters.
Some suggestions for revision are listed below:
1. Minor grammar as well as wording problems exist throughout the manuscript. The authors are advised to check the manuscript again.
2. Figures and tables are better put after the paragraph where the specific figure or table is first mentioned.
3. Figure 1 is not bright enough. A brighter Figure 1 will be preferable. Figure 2 is blurred and inessential. If it is kept, a clearer photograph is preferable.
4. There are two Figure 7. Renumbering these figures is required
5. From figure 8, since the grain with oblique collision process takes longer time to rebound to the same height compared with the grain with orthogonal collision process, the former must reach a height lower than the latter can reach. The statement on line 226 to 227 should be more precise.
6. In Section 3.3, it is not clear how these three different collision velocities relate to Figure 10. In Figure 10, only start-falling heights may be related to the collision velocities. If this is right, more statements are required to explain this relationship. Also, how are these three velocities obtained, from measurement or from kinetic theory? It should be noted that these velocitiy values are a little bit higher than the kinetic theoretical values if the three starting-falling height are related to these velocities.
7. Please give more details about how the 4k-6kHz passband is decided for the bandpass filter.
8. The formats of authors' names in references are not the same. Corrections are required.

Answer: The falling velocity values were calculated according to their falling height by kinetic theory. We have added the explanation in the latest manuscript. 7. Please give more details about how the 4k-6kHz pass-band is decided for the bandpass filter. Answer: Since the rise time is a quarter of the signal period, if we know the rise time of the signal, the the signal period can be calculated easily, then we can also get the signal frequency. The formats of authors' names in references are not the same. Corrections are required. Answer: The name format has been uniformly modified, thanks.

Reviewer 3 Report
The authors presented a well-written paper about designing a grain loss sensor that uses signal voltage amplitude and frequency to evaluate the performance of the combined harvester.
On line 157: The authors should announce that the signal attenuation time graphs are in Figures 13 and 14.
Which viscoelastic material did the authors use on the sensitive plate to improve the sensor resolution?
These two phrases need a better meaning: "signal trigger order is 10%" and "negative delay point is 200".
The authors must show the 43 measuring points.
The pictures in Figure 6 need labels and explanations.
When citing Wang et al., the authors present the measures of maximum relative error and averaged monitoring error. In their results, the authors measured a maximum monitoring error of ≤4.85%, but the column name in Table 2 is Relative error. For clarity, the authors should use the same measure names to facilitate comparisons.
The authors should put this conclusion found in the results section in the conclusion section: "signal voltage amplitude shows a positive correlation with the collision angle."
