The authors have performed a good piece of work.

I would also suggest considering the influence of impurities/defects introduced to the materials and associated with the synthetic method on SERS detection limits. As there is a clear correlation between them.

In page 5, line number 162:  detection concentration reached 10-4 IU mL-1 level, here the unit needs attention it is 10-14 mol. L-1
