Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an interesting paper demonstrating that Nano cellulose which interacts with PVOH can modify sustain release of active compounds such as drugs. Surface modification of the nano fibers (negative charge by TEMPO oxidation in this case) modified the sustain release profile

Reviewer 2 Report

This manuscript has scientific and medical merit using nanocellulose films for drug release systems.

The manuscript is fine in its current form.

I only detected a couple of typo's
