Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In this manuscript, the authors adopted online dynamic mode decomposition (online DMD) [15] with weight modification. In my opinion, the possible new contribution of the manuscript could be the weighted modification.

I have the following comments for the author consider in the revision:

(1) validation of the proposed model against experimental data or previous study may be required.

(2) The author may need to further discuss the scientific application of teh proposed model, rather than present some theoretical examples.

Reviewer 2 Report

First, the improvement should be highlighted in a better way.

Secondly, the test cases are not really significant because nearly any DMD algorithm obtains good results for these examples. The author should consider a multi-dimensional case with lots of noise.

Thirdly, hardly any of the expamles in the literature review contains really large cases where improved DMD methods would be needed. E.g. for "Transforming the Shock Pattern of Supersonic Jets using Fluidic Injection" an improved DMD algorithm make sense because the data of a single snapshot is very large.

Please adjust the font size in the figures such that they can be read.

The use of language is fine.
