Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report (Previous Reviewer 1)

Authors may also consider Cortisol hormone analysis in their future studies.

Reviewer 2 Report (Previous Reviewer 2)

Thank you for the revision version of the paper

All is well done

This manuscript is a resubmission of an earlier submission. The following is a list of the peer review reports and author responses from that submission.

Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Overview and general recommendations:

Authors need to thoroughly improve the English language of the manuscript. There is no flow in the sentences describing background and discussion. In most of the manuscript, there is no connection between the two sentences. I don’t understand why there are so many paragraphs in both the background and discussion sections. The experimental design should be clearly explained. What was the criteria to select ISA brown hybrid, and what were the rearing conditions? Authors should explain why they only considered biochemical indicators to assess bird health. Statistical analysis was just hypothetically explained. Finally, author should explain why they mentioned the whole protocol of every biochemical parameter. Results are not described properly. Only mentioned in the tables. Discussion section is not described properly. The discussion should not be simply "literature comparisons". Authors should describe, analyse, and interpret their findings.
