- Scoliosis in the course of neuromuscular disease (spinal muscular atrophy); idiopathic juvenile scoliosis diagnosed by an orthopaedist (based on medical history and X-ray examination with Cobb angle measurement) eligible for surgical treatment in children with SMA Type 2 or 3; SMA diagnosis made by paediatric neurologists based on genetic testing.
- Age ≥ 7 years;
- No other concomitant diseases that could affect the outcome of the study;
- Written consent of a parent (guardian) to participate in the study.
