Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

"I would like to thank the editors of JCM for the opportunity to review the Letter by Lin Chen et al. on the manuscript “Surgical Aortic Mitral Curtain Replacement: Systematic Review and Metanalysis of Early and Long-Term Results” by Giambuzzi et al.
While the authors correctly noted that the Review by Giambuzzi et al. study had included 4 studies with overlapping patient cohorts, they successfully draw the attention the improvement of outcomes within the last decades. The comment by Lin Chen et al. is supported by the reviewer, since the authors add further relevant information to the discussion about this rare and challenging procedures (Commando/Hemi-Commando). The reviewer has no concerns in publishing this Letter."
