Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper represents a continuation of previous work related to GPCR surface mobility and report based on a single quantum dot tracking a D2 dopamine receptor variant a decrease of diffusion rate.  That is probably responsible for differences in pharmacological profile for neuroleptics, representing a new way to view problems in response receptor activity and its relation with pathological processes. Data sound strong, well presented, we believe that is suitable to publish.

Author Response

We would like to thank the reviewer for the positive evaluation of our manuscript.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript “Membrane nanoscopic organization of D2L dopamine receptor probed by quantum dot tracking” by Kovtun et al. contains very interesting and well detailed results. The referee recommends this manuscript in the present form for publication in Membranes.

Please have a look in 2 minor typos in caption of Figure 2.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for the positive evaluation of our manuscript. We corrected two typos in Figure 2 caption (D2-5 corrected to D2-5 and two instances of μm2/s corrected to μm2/s).
