Abstract

The redundancy and low quality of information in electronic media lead to information noise and other limitations that prevent users from effectively processing and absorbing information and knowledge. This study aimed to create and justify the research assumptions for building a model to evaluate the effectiveness of media messages, which can provide support and a methodological solution in the analysis and evaluation of any types of messages currently widely used in digital media. In order to verify the proposed model, the author of the article conducted empirical research on examples of five different types of infographics, which were examined on a group of 40 respondents using five various research methods. The obtained final results confirmed the practical applicability of the created model for evaluating the level of effectiveness for infographics as well as support in designing, implementing, and increasing the effectiveness of media messages.
