In the original publication [1], Table 1 (S1) was written incorrectly in the main text. There are three instances of “(Table 1 (S1))” throughout the text that need to be changed to “Table S1”.
The following correction has been made to Section 2.2.3. Samples Collection, Paragraph 1:
A total of fifteen samples were obtained from different areas of the fresco (Figure 2), with the aim of characterizing both biological colonization and salt composition (Table S1).
The following correction has been made to Section 2.3. Laboratory Investigations, Paragraph 1:
Not all samples were investigated using the same analytical techniques (see Table S1).
The following correction has been made to Section 2.3.4. Ion Chromatography Analysis, Paragraph 1:
All samples (S1–S11, S4b, S5b, S6b and Ss) were investigated with respect to their specific alteration phenomenology (Table S1).
