The journal retracts the article titled “A Phantom Study to Investigate Robustness and Reproducibility of Grey Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM)-Based Radiomics Features for PET” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding unauthorized use of propriety data presented within this article [1].
Adhering to our complaints procedure, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation that confirmed that an appropriate permission to publish the underlying data was not obtained and that this publication breached the embargo period as set out by The University of Manchester. As retroactive permission could not be obtained, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy, available online at https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30.
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Applied Sciences.
The author did not provide a comment on this decision.
