Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The work is good and presented in excellent way, here I have ont few comments:

1.      As per standard suggestions, please avoid using title words as keywords

2.      Systematic abstract is missing.

3.      In the abstract write the abbreviated tests (TEAC, ,,,) in full

4.      Please provide GPS location for Firlej near Lublin in Eastern Poland

5.      From figure 1, the peak of glucose correspond to 42 or 64.31 ?

6.     Figure 2 visibility is very low please check

7.      Please conclude with a statement that shows a knowledge gap covered, potential beneficiaries and specific recommendations as well.

8.      Which method used for powdering the plant

9.      Line 502 use cosmetics instead of cosmetic

Rewrite keywords - Was the plant collected from different bases? Have a repeat? - What concentrations are used to determine antioxidants? - One shape is not good quality - Most of the references are old, use the references of 2021 and 2022

Reviewer 3 Report

The article deals with a comprehensive experimental in vitro assessment of few biological activities of Rosa rugosa roots, a previously unexplored and so far unexploited biological waste material.

The manuscript is well structured and well written, the experiments are fully supported, along with the results and their interpretation and presentation. The information conveyed to the readers can be useful and important.

I have only two quite minor remarks:

Line 45-46: "monoor heterosaccharides". What does "monoor" mean? Is that a typo?

Line 66: The word "significant" should be limited to statistics. Here and possibly elsewhere please use for example "remarkable".
