Reviewer 3 Report

This is an interesting paper presenting a socio-technical study on optimal control method for HVAC system using a control algorithm to manage indoor thermal environment in South Korea. In general, both the methodology and approach presented would be interesting for readers working in the field, and the conclusions derived from the study are also offering some useful insights. Although the study has carried out comprehensive analyses, the authors failed to address the bigger picture where the study findings would be helpful and useful toward the existing knowledge in the field. As well, the authors should state and clarify how the proposed method is any different from the existing methods used through building services, such as HVAC systems, to tackle the energy efficiency through building compliance measures. I’d suggest that the authors should also proofread their paper once more to improve the expression of English language throughout. Otherwise, good contribution to the associated field.
