There was an error in the original publication [1].
In the original publication, reference [14] was added mistakenly. The correct reference [14] is as follows: Patel, B.H. Handbook of Textile and Industrial Dyeing; Principles, Processes and Types of Dyes, Volume 1 in Woodhead Publishing Series in Textiles; Clark, M., Ed.; Woodhead Publishing: Sawston, UK, 2011; pp. 395–424. https://doi.org/10.1533/9780857093974.2.395.
In addition, the authors regret the misinterpretation of the information given in Zerin et al. [15]. The sentence “Adjective dyes give permanent color only when used along with a mordant to bind them to the fabric; meanwhile substantive dyes contain a natural mordant, called tannin, and can give fast color without the use of additional mordants [15]” should be corrected to “With the help of a mordant, adjective dyes form chemical bonds with fiber polymers. On the other hand, some natural dyes are substantive and do not require a mordant [15]”.
Moreover, the name of the book was mistakenly omitted in reference [15] and has now been included as follows: Zerin, I.; Farzana, N.; Sayem, A.S.M.; Anang, D.M.; Haider, J. Potentials of Natural Dyes for Textile Applications; Encyclopedia of Renewable and Sustainable Materials, Volume 2; Hashmi, S., Choudhury, I.A., Eds.; Elsevier: Oxford, UK, 2020; pp. 873–883. https://doi.org/10.1016/B978-0-12-803581-8.11668-6.
Additionally, “A composite of La-Fe-O [46]….” should be read as “A composite of La-Fe-O mixture and graphitic carbon nitride [46]….”. A few minor spelling mistakes were corrected.
In the meantime, the corresponding email of the author Kannappan Panchamoorthy Gopinath has been changed to kpgopinath.biotech@gmail.com.
The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused and state that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. This correction was approved by the Academic Editor. The original publication has also been updated.
