1. Additional details regarding the La-Modiffed SBA-15 should be given in the materials section.

2.  As the study is mainly focused on the cataly activity，it is required to include the Catalytic performance experiments

 3. Scheme of the synthesis process of the catalyst should be given. and its performance in HDO reaction is investigated.

4.      how to verify its physicochemical properties. It should be evaluated with corresponding Catalytic  activity.

5.      The degree of the Direct Synthesized process, in addition to its efficiency also should be varied and evaluated to La-Modiffed SBA-15 with the adsorption capacity.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This research provides a possibility in design and synthesis of La-SBA-15 for  phenol hydrodeoxygenation. However, there are several questions need to be imporved.

1.The material was desigende by desired pore sizes and areas, however, we could not found the data in discussion part.

2.The acidic site was improtant for hydrodeoxygenation. There were none characterization for it.
