Fruit and Vegetable Consumption in Mothers and Their Children Aged 4–10 and Its Relationship with Maternal Feeding Practices
Highlights
- The fruit intake of mothers strongly correlates with that of children’s.
- The results confirmed a positive association between mothers’ Modeling practices and children’s vegetable consumption.
- Some maternal feeding practices, i.e., the Food as a Reward and Emotion Regulation practices, are negatively associated with meeting fruit and vegetable recommendations in younger children.
- The Monitoring practice is positively correlated with meeting fruit and vegetable recommendations in older children.
