Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

There are some interesting aspects to this manuscript while it presented novelty by revealing the relationship between obesity indices and skin autofluorescence. However, all figures were missing in the present manuscript. For better supporting authors’ conclusion, the figures should be included in the revised manuscript.

ANSWERS TO REVIEWER # 1

Thank you very much for the revision process of our manuscript entitled Is there a link between obesity indices and skin autofluorescence? A response from the ILERVAS project (Manuscript ID: nutrients -2136352).

As suggested, the three figures has been added in the revised manuscript.

Reviewer 2 Report

Although results were not statistically significant, this study provide novel insights into advanced glycation end-products (AGE) in obesity. Introduction adequately set the scene. Material and methods provide all the necessary methodology. In results section it can be seen that significant effort have been made to analyse and present all the data with appropriate statistics. In Discussion part all the controversy about the role of AGE in obesity was provided with explanation and specific comments. The limitation of the study were acknowledged. Overall, I have no comments for improvement since I am quite satisfied with the manuscript.
