Reviewer 2 Report

Damgaard et al. show the effect of petrostilbene in three different animal models of hyperglycaemia. Overall, well written paper and good presentation of results. I only have concerned about their STZ-model related to the dose and subcutaneous injection, usually i.p. is used with 40mg/kg body weight of five doses.
