Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The reviewer would like to commend the authors for a clear and well written article. I have a few minor comments on the article:

1.      Why was the park divided into 9 zones, and how were those zones decided? These questions relate to why the disparity in the area of each zone.

2.      Line 176. There is a missing “.” after “Picture”.

3.      Could the authors add an example of how the habitat quality value is obtained?

4.      Line 205. Remove the excessive cursive.

Reviewer’s comments

The manuscript entitled “Evaluation of Sustainable Landscape Design: Presence of Native Pollinators in an Urban Park in Mexico City, Mexico” presents an interesting piece of research.

Few observations are there regarding the paper and the paper requires minor modifications before it can be considered for publication.

Overall comments:

1.      In section 2, methods and methods; there is need to elaborate briefly different sections of section 2.3 like evaluation of pollination value against threshold/benchmark values, assessment of habitat quality.

2.      Without the supporting data; the section looks like more hypothetical.

3.      Formulate conclusion into precise results which can be taken up for future research work in the field.

-            On pages 1,2 from lines 44-50 authors should support the paragraph  by adding  a reference(s)

-          On page 2 _line 50 change color to black with underline removal  Zeng et al.

-          On page 3: Materials and methods part_ authors are advised to add a general view image of the landscape to give the reader an overview of the landscape characterizations next to the existing Figure 1

-          On page 4 line 172 the methodology of Zhu, et al please change the color to black with underlined removal

-          If authors could convert tables 1,2,3 to graphs it would give the reader an overview for highlighting the species in each studied area zone
