Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

The manuscript presents a quite interesting study. Must be improved some aspects of the paper:

1. How Does Perceived Value Affect Cooperation Initiative in Agricultural Organization is the main question addressed by the research

2. Yes the topic is original or relevant for the field and the research is an original one

3. Regarding the methodology:

-        In the literature review part must be included more studies in the field.

-        Maybe in the conclusion part the proposals woul be a proper chapter to add.

-        In discussion part maybe you could organise it, because they are too many numbers> 5.2, 5.2.1....etc. iti is hard for the reader to keep up and understand!!

4. The conclusions are consistent with the evidence and arguments

5. The references are appropriate

Reviewer 2 Report

The purpose of this study was to promote cooperation initiatives among all kinds of members to ensure high-quality resource usage in AIUs. Based on the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and theory of perceived value, the structural equation model was used to examine the main factors affecting members’ initiative to cooperate in AIUs in Hebei Province, contributing to the body of knowledge. However, the following revisions must be done to improve the quality and research rigor.

Introduction

Please see an introduction from lines 26 to 76. Only one citation is provided. Please properly cite each passage. Please provide research objectives and significance in the introduction section.

Literature review

Please provide sufficient literature on each variable first the hypothesize your proposed hypotheses. Do not list all hypotheses at the end of the literature.  Please discuss each hypothesized relationship, then list individual hypotheses.

Methods and technique

How you distributed questionnaires? Apparently, a response rate of 92% is very high; please explain and justify.

On page 8, figure 2 authors show a symbolic model of research. Please explain and justify why you used AMOS software for analysis.

Data Analysis

In the analysis section, AMOS 22 output is missing. Please share the measurement model and structural model with values in the analysis section. RMR and RMSEA values should be less than .05, please check, e.g.,  in Table 4 RMSEA value is 077.

Discussion and findings

Please extend this section. Provide both theoretical and practical implications after discussing your findings.

Conclusion

Looks fine

Reviewer 3 Report

To substantiate the tested hypotheses in more detail and indicate on the basis of which theoretical publications each of them was formulated.

It is not clear what results were obtained when achieving the second goal of the study (ii Provide theoretical support for policy making on the development of agricooperative organizations. Help policymakers promote AIUs’ and relative agri-operating bodis, so as to keep stable development of Days and realize the high-quality development of modern agriculture).

In the conclusions section, give practical suggestions arising from the results of the study.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article has been improved a lot based on previous revisions. However, a few minor corrections are required to be made before publication. Please add the heading (Discussion and Findings ) from lines 498 to 591, and please remove the heading (5. Discussion) at line 547.  Further in the discussion, we also cite other studies supporting or opposing our study findings. We do so in order to validate our study findings and discussion. Thank you.

Author Response

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thanks for your suggestions. We have studies comments carefully and have made correction which we hope meet with approval. There are some details we would like to make a response.

  1. Line 512 to 562 are based on the result in Table 7, I'm afraid it would be inappropriate to add the heading (Discussion and Findings). But we add the sentence "According to the results presented in Table 7" in the front to make it clearer.
  2. We have gone through the whole manuscript to examine and correct grammar and spelling errors.

We sincerely hope that you find our modifications satisfactory.

Best regards
