Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear author The topic that you have chosen is very good. The start of the article is also very nice but it needs to be strengthen with citations as your introduction section lacks citations. there are many arguments that have been built without supporting them or giving credit to the source. Likewise, I believe that during the literature review, it is very shallow and you support with pictures instead scholarly work, you missed some important recently published work related to economy and environment or sustainability, or green practices. I recommend you some references to not only to add to strengthen your work but also to understand, how to conduct a critical literature review;

Likewise, another major issue without which the Paper should not be Published is that the discussions are shallow. You need to strongly link or contradict your findings with the prior literature.

The conclusion section also lack any theoretical and practical significance of the study, add limitations and recommendations as well.
Finally, I also found some grametical errors and there is a need for proof reading especially the writing style.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article is consistent with the theme of the magazine and has an interesting approach, the subject addressed is a current one, of interest, the use of deep learning algorithms to study environmental protection and the optimization of ecological economic growth having an important role in the perspective of sustainable development.

Updating the material with the recommendations received for each section can make it possible to publish the article.

1. The title of the paper fits the theme of the magazine. The keywords were well chosen.

2. The introduction includes current bibliographic sources and reiterates most of the key words.

The structure of the paper is not presented and the research hypotheses are not clearly outlined.

3. Although previous research relevant to the study is presented in the article, the article does not include a Scientific Literature Review section. No summaries of points of view are made and no own opinions or conclusions are formulated.

4. In figure 1, in order not to create confusion with the cities M and N, I think that the points M and N can be marked differently.

5. For figure 4 (page 10), the first reference is made on page 6, it is quite difficult to follow

6. As a suggestion, tables 2, 3 can be included in the annex.

7. Results and discussions - The results are presented descriptively, succinctly and reflect the research objectives.

8. Conclusions - Correlations between the authors' results and the specialized literature are not highlighted.

9. Research limits and future directions of approach are briefly mentioned in the last paragraph of the paper.

Reviewer 3 Report

Dear authors,

First of all I would like to congratulate you for the theme of the manuscript and for the work you did in developing the article. I acknowledge the effort made and the relevance of the topic. However, I believe that until its publication, the article needs significant revision by the authors to fill some important gaps.

1. The literature review needs to be improved to provide a better background on the subject studied.

2. The manuscript needs a thorough revision with respect to English.

3. The methodology used needs to be clearer, not only in the text, but regarding the nomenclature used (omitted most of the time). Section 2.3 has many expressions, however all the notation is not explained in the text, nor is there a list of variables.

4. The formatting also needs to be revised, according to the journal template. Namely the font, sentence numbering on the right, equations, etc.

5. The reference list also needs a thorough revision as different referencing styles are used in the same list, namely the indication of year, authors' names and surnames, etc. Examples: Ref 4, Ref 15, Ref 27, etc.

6. There should be a better description of the area and cities under study, so that the study can be more comprehensive. In addition, the authors refer to the study in "area A", describing its characteristics and ending the sentence with the reference [22]. However the reference has nothing to do with "area A".

7. The Discussion Section should be significantly improved. As it stands, it reads more like a conclusion.

8. Although the study is interesting, more than a case study, it should allow one to draw inferences and conclusions to become more comprehensive and contribute to the understanding of the subject of the manuscript. Unfortunately, this does not come across in the text. Although the study is interesting, I think it could have a more comprehensive discussion of the results and values obtained.

Apart from this, below I list some suggestions, comments and minor issues.

Good luck and good work

Minor Comments and Suggestions

1. At the beginning of the article, the authors still have part of the template text: "Type of the Paper (Article)". I would advise authors to put only "Article".

2. Font of the header is different from the template.

3. The numbering of the lines of the manuscript is missing.

4. I would ask the authors to consider replacing "Key Words" with "Keywords".

5. Page 1: The sentence concerning the present study might be better at the end of the Introduction section. I would advise the authors to alter the sentence a little to avoid repeating terms: "from the perspective of sustainable development, aiming at the sustainable development"

6. Page 2: "start protecting the ecological environment[4]." A space is missing between the text and the reference.

7. I would advise the authors to improve Figure 1. The letters have different sizes and the title of the vertical axis should be written backwards.

8. Page 3: "As shown in Figure 3, it is a deep learning related model." The sentence is not quite correct.

9. Figure 3 does nothing to support the sentence that precedes it. The figure has relevance, but embedded in a sentence that explains and contextualises it.

10. Page 4: Align the sentence with the notation. That is, in the first sentence, rij and vijxpq appear slightly above the text line. check the rest of the text, regarding this aspect.

Thank you for your review

Reviewer 2 Report

For authors:  I appreciate the authors' efforts to update the article, however I think a few more clarifications are needed:
1. Inserting a paragraph at the end of the "Introduction" section in which the structure of the paper is presented.
2. It is unclear what the research hypotheses are. If possible, mention this paragraph.
3. Regarding figure 1, if points M and N do not represent the 2 cities, then they will be marked differently (with other letters).
If the analysis is performed for cities in a specific region, based on specific data, why are the names of the region/cities not mentioned?

Author Response

For authors:  I appreciate the authors' efforts to update the article, however I think a few more clarifications are needed:
1. Inserting a paragraph at the end of the "Introduction" section in which the structure of the paper is presented.

Answer: The innovation points of this paper are as follows: 1) Using the deep learning theory and environmental regulation model, this paper analyzes the relevant problems of economic growth of ecological enterprises from the perspective of sustainable development, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures. 2) ESR value, EEYR value, energy value of renewable resources, energy value of non-renewable energy, and the value of waste and renewable energy are compared with the value of non-renewable energy, so as to understand that the cities in the region use resources excessively for economic development.

  1. It is unclear what the research hypotheses are. If possible, mention this paragraph.
Answer: This paper assumes that the ESR value, EEYR value, renewable resource energy, non-renewable resource energy, waste and renewable energy value and non-renewable energy value of four cities (H, K, M and N) can be measured at the same time.

  1. Regarding figure 1, if points M and N do not represent the 2 cities, then they will be marked differently (with other letters).
Answer: glad to receive your comments, i have marked them in A and B.
  2. If the analysis is performed for cities in a specific region, based on specific data, why are the names of the region/cities not mentioned?

Answer: i have give detailed area name, area A is Guangdong, Shenzhen.

Dear authors,

I thank you for all your answers and for all the attention to answer all the comments. I acknowledge the effort made. However, some points that I had indicated earlier remain almost unchanged. So, I list below some of these points and some more that I think would be important to correct to improve the manuscript.

Good luck with the manuscript

1. The methodology used needs to be clearer, not only in the text, but regarding the nomenclature used (omitted most of the time). Section 2.3 has many expressions; however, all the notation is not explained in the text, nor is there a list of variables.

2. The formatting also needs to be revised, according to the journal template. Namely the font, sentence numbering on the right, equations, etc.

3. Page 6 and 7: Table 4 appears in the text after Table 1.

4. The authors refer to Table 3, but it does not appear in the text. I suppose it is the one that appears on page 15; however, it has no numbering or indication of a table.

5. The Tables in the Annex should have a different numbering, according to the journal's template. Could you explain the reason for moving the tables to Annex?

6. The reference list also needs a thorough revision as different referencing styles are used in the same list, namely the indication of year, authors' names, and surnames, etc.

7. The Discussion Section should be significantly improved. As it stands, it reads more like a conclusion.

Minor Comments and Suggestions

1. Font of the header is different from the template.

3. I would advise the authors to improve Figure 1. The title of the vertical axis should be written backwards, and "M" should be aligned with "Q" and "N".

4. On page 3 some spaces are missing. In some sentences some full stops are together with the word at the beginning of the next sentence.

5. Page 4: Align the sentence with the notation. That is, in the first sentence, rij appear slightly above the text line. Check the rest of the text, regarding this aspect.

  1. The Tables in the Annex should have a different numbering, according to the journal's template. Could you explain the reason for moving the tables to Annex?

Answer: i have added the two tables into the related parts, so i have deleted them in Annex.

  1. The reference list also needs a thorough revision as different referencing styles are used in the same list, namely the indication of year, authors' names, and surnames, etc.

Answer: i have revised them to keep the same list.

  1. The Discussion Section should be significantly improved. As it stands, it reads more like a conclusion.

Answer: This study starts from the perspective of sustainable development, takes sustainable development as the goal, and starts from the perspective of sustainable development. The research contents of this paper refer to many literature materials, and the research results obtained also confirm the intermediary role of psychological safety in the relationship between sustainable leadership and sustainable performance of enterprises, and also verify the role of the improved algorithm of deep learning network in eliminating the redundancy of road images. However, this study also has some limitations. Due to the short time of experimental research and the low accuracy of experimental results, the experiment needs further improvement. However, there is reason to believe that with the progress of science and technology, there will be more intelligent deep learning algorithms to improve and optimize the environmental monitoring model, so as to promote the research of enterprises on environmental protection and the optimization of ecological and commercial economic growth.

Minor Comments and Suggestions

  1. Font of the header is different from the template.

Answer: i have revised and keep them in the same forms.

Round 3

Reviewer 3 Report

Dear authors,

I thank you once again for all the changes and acknowledge the effort to improve the article and respond to all the comments.

I only have to highlight the fact that I still find the Discussion Section underdeveloped. In my opinion the article would be much better if the Discussion was improved, better grounded and not as it is which looks like a conclusion and not a discussion.

Figure 1 still has the yy axis title turned 180 degrees from what it should be. The authors could change the direction of the axis title.

On page 7 there is overlapping text with table 2.

Good luck with the manuscript
